Setauket-Port Jefferson Station Greenway

A paved 3.4-mile ribbon through the woods between Setauket and Port Jefferson Station, beloved by walkers, joggers, and kids on training wheels. It connects to the North Shore Rail Trail, so ambitious riders can now roll all the way to Wading River. The rare Long Island trail you can do in sneakers after work.
LOCAL TIP
Park at the Limroy Lane lot off 25A in Setauket or the Route 112 end in Port Jefferson Station; there is a midpoint lot at Gnarled Hollow Road if you want a shorter out-and-back.
