Roosevelt Field
Garden City, NY · 🚂 ~0.9 mi from Carle Place LIRR
2.4 million square feet and roughly 270 stores on the old airfield where Lindbergh took off for Paris, making it the biggest mall on Long Island and the second biggest in New York State. Macy's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and a luxury wing that means business.
LOCAL TIP
Park by the Neiman Marcus entrance for the luxury wing and the calmest garage; weekend afternoons are a demolition derby, so go weekday mornings if you actually want to shop.
