Camping at Cathedral Pines

Tent and trailer sites under a stand of white pines so tall and dark the name is not an exaggeration, near the headwaters of the Carmans River. It is Suffolk's classic family-and-scout campground, and the singletrack loop around the park is one of the best mountain bike rides on the Island.
LOCAL TIP
Reservations open 180 days ahead at 7pm online with a Green Key; bring bikes, because the trail network is the whole point of this park.
