Camping at Blydenburgh
Smithtown, NY
About 50 wooded tent and trailer sites above the historic 1798 gristmill hamlet on the Nissequogue, the only real campground in the middle of Smithtown's sprawl. Stump Pond is still recovering from the 2024 dam breach, so come for the woods and the history, not the paddling, for now.
LOCAL TIP
Season runs April 1 to November 11 through the Suffolk reservation system, Green Key required; check current conditions before booking since dam restoration work is ongoing.
