Sledding at Bethpage State Park

When it actually snows, the state opens golf course hills to sledders from December 1 through March 31, and generations of Nassau kids have bombed these slopes. Totally snow-dependent, so some winters this entry is pure theory.
LOCAL TIP
Steerable sleds only, no inflatable tubes; the hills near the clubhouse fill up fast after a storm.
